Portfolio programs charge thousands of dollars to get an entry-level job at an ad agency. That’s a lot of money going to a completely unaccredited institution just to get a foot in the door. The benefits come from networking and working alongside top-tier creatives. But, while programs like these can build amazing portfolios, it’s an expensive barrier to entering the industry. I figure before I spend $40,000 on a portfolio school, I should consider my options.

So let’s cut the crap.

I’ll take a fraction of the price of portfolio school and pay it to anyone who can get me an agency job in copywriting or strategy. If this is the dystopian world we’re living in, we might as well make a deal.
